Google Earth Engine
MapBiomas uses the GOOGLE EARTH ENGINE platform, where scripts are built to process satellite images and access the resulting MapBiomas Amazonia Collection 2 maps.
To access, follow the instructions below:
- With a Gmail account, register in Google Earth Engine at https://earthengine.google.com
- Within a few days you will receive access authorization.
- In Google Earth Engine, enter and select the scripts you want to run.
- Change the parameters to get the desired map.
We encourage users that use MapBiomas scripts, to send us your innovation suggestions so that we can constantly improve them.
Access to Colection 2 Amazon MapBiomas in Google Earth Engine
MapBiomas Amazonia’s collection of image mosaics and maps are available for visualization as 'Assets' directly in Google Earth Engine, without the need to download or upload data.
